Birthdays is always a good reason for the CoFA Crew to get together and catch up. I just realised that it’s been 10 years since we all graduated from uni! Where does the time go?? And though we all started out with the same degree, we’ve all branched out into different fields: from design to development, SEO to production, community engagement to speech pathology.
It’s always great catching up and celebrating another year wiser over some good food. For something different, this year we celebrated Flora’s birthday with some Spanish tapas at Subsolo. I’m always a fan of Spanish cuisine especially since I had discovered paella. Now every time I get to eat it, it takes me back to all the paella I ate in Barcelona on my honeymoon. Oh to be back in Europe again.
Since it’s tapas we got a few dishes to share. From what we ordered, my picks would be:
Seafood paella - prawns, cuttlefish, clams
Iberico ham croquets

Note to self: Need to learn how to shoot better in low lighting. I never carry my camera flash so a lot of my low light images will be a bit grainy.
